I use these boots for winter camping and hiking. Make sure to use a good sock system, i like to layer my socks when I am not moving and sitting at camp. When moving I use 1 layer, generally its the toe socks to prevent hot spots and blisters.

I switched to Lone Peak because these are lighter, more comfortable, and have a wide toe box to prevent blisters. If temperatures are below freezing, I use my Baffin Boirealis Boots regardless of the season.
